I've worked with Custom Packaging Lane a few times this year on packaging for our soaps. They always deliver great looking boxes within our tight deadlines. Frank is super communicative and a pleasure to work with.

Very happy with Custom Packaging Lane. Sam and Sarah were great to work with. The quality of the printing and speedy delivery was very much appreciated. I use them for 2 of our custom printed boxes and will be using them for more projects moving forward. Sam was wonderful and even caught a typo that I missed. Thank you.

A one-piece roll end tuck front corrugated mailer gives mixed wrapped candy a hinged opening and reinforced sidewalls. Straight tuck end cartons fit uniform bars or pouches, while a sleeve and tray can stage an assortment in a planned reveal. If unwrapped candy will touch any part of the pack, ask us about food-contact options for the complete construction.
E-flute supports a compact mailer profile and smoother print face, while B-flute provides more cushioning for deeper or heavier assortments. Flexographic printing is common for repeat corrugated graphics. Digital printing suits shorter seasonal artwork changes, and offset can be compared when the design stays consistent across a longer run.
| Pack format | Useful application | Fit check | Print route |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roll end tuck front mailer | Mixed monthly assortment | Tallest item and divider clearance | Flexographic or digital |
| Straight tuck end | Uniform wrapped bar or pouch | Closure and wrapper seam clearance | Digital or offset |
| Sleeve with tray | Gift-style collection | Tray travel and pull clearance | Digital or offset |
A fixed outer footprint with adjustable paperboard dividers allows the product mix to change without redrawing the exterior every month. Group items by packed height and footprint, keep the tallest piece below the lid, and cut divider slots for more than one layout. For folding sleeves and dividers, 18 pt and 24 pt kraft board provide two useful rigidity checkpoints before the slot pattern is approved.
Wrapper seams, crimped ends, and bulky labels belong in the packed dimensions. A cavity traced from one bare candy shape can slow loading or leave another item loose. Narrow wrapped products can use candy bar boxes as a structural reference, while the outer subscription pack remains constant.
Dividers, paperboard rails, and folded platforms should stop products from crossing compartments without squeezing fragile pieces. Put denser items low and near the center, then check whether a pouch corner can climb over a divider during handling. The loaded tray must remain below the lid path so closing pressure does not transfer to candy or wrappers.
A featured product can occupy one repeatable window position while the remaining cells change. For that opening, the clear polyester window layer, PET, commonly falls between 0.2 and 0.3 mm. The board around the opening must leave room for the patch. Candy boxes with window show how the opening and product position work together. Matte lamination reduces glare, gloss increases reflection, and either surface should be checked for rub where dividers or wrappers touch it.
Repeatable fit, opening order, print consistency, packing speed, and outer shipping volume matter more than decoration alone. Measure the complete monthly assortment at its widest, tallest, and deepest packed points. Then load several boxes in the intended order, close the lid, and check panel bowing, divider lift, corner crush, and movement after ordinary handling.
The production cutting file should keep small type away from fold scores, extend backgrounds through the trim allowance, and reserve glue areas before seasonal art is released. Low-resolution images can soften, and screen-only color files can shift during press conversion. Browse the food packaging catalog and compare board feel, folds, window film, and surface finishes through the sample kit.
