Misaligned magnet pockets, bowed core board, or an over-tight hinge can hold one corner above the front wall. A hinged rigid setup uses wrapped chipboard and a flap that brings paired magnets together at closing. Core thickness and wrap tension must be balanced so the hinge opens repeatedly without splitting the wrap. Each pocket must also sit flush so the flap meets the wall instead of rocking on a raised magnet.

Test the heaviest packout because a raised insert or overfilled cavity can change the meeting angle. Open and close the sample repeatedly, hold it upright, and turn it face down over a protected surface to expose a weak contact point before the quantity is produced.
Panel order, hinge direction, wrap seams, magnet position, and insert orientation belong on the approval set. A digital proof should reveal missing bleed, low-resolution logos, RGB colors that may shift for press, and type sitting too close to a fold or edge. When foil stamping, embossing, debossing, or spot UV is specified, keep each treatment on a separate named layer and verify its registration against the printed image. A press check should examine color density, scuffing on dark solids, and finish alignment near the flap.
Setup construction keeps its finished volume during storage, while a collapsible format folds at engineered joints and is erected before filling. Collapsible units reduce empty storage volume but add checks at the corner joints, walls, hinge, and magnet contact after assembly. Setup boxes need corner protection and close master-carton packing so wrapped edges do not rub. For either build, establish the number of completed units per master carton, carton orientation, pallet layers, and stacking pattern from a physical packout rather than from artwork dimensions.
A flip-top format gives direct lid access, while a book-style flap creates a longer opening sweep and more wrap area near the hinge.
