Key Features
Each syrup’s unique qualities mean packaging should also be distinctive. Standard box styles include rectangular, square, taper top, and tuck end. More specialized designs like two-piece, octagonal, hexagonal, triangular, gable, hinged, flip top, slipcase, sleeve, and roll end tuck top depend on packaging, shipping, and presentation needs. Our custom syrup boxes allow you to choose size, shape, design, and finish. Even if it is minimal and elegant or vibrant and eye-catching.
Moreover, we have given thought to the environment and have options that are eco-friendly. FSC-certified boards, water-based inks, and safe adhesives are available for selection. This not only guarantees that your packaging is safe for your product but also for the planet. Your rough sketches or ideas will be transformed by our design team into professional, print-ready pharma packaging. You will have full control over the appearance, texture, and usability.
Syrup bottles are very delicate. If they are not packaged properly, they may either shatter or ooze liquid from the crack. A damaged reputation results in disgruntled customers and the company’s reputation suffering. Our packages are meant to be the best defense for your products. They contain the bottles tightly and securely. The additional inserts will allow the bottles to be safe during the shipping or storage process.
You can pick boxes that fit tightly, have several compartments, or come with locking features to guarantee that your syrup will get there without a single scratch. Your bottles will be perfectly displayed on the shelves and delivered to the customers in perfect condition.
Your syrup packaging needs to communicate clearly. Customers need to know the type of syrup, ingredients, usage instructions, and precautions. Our printing options make sure every detail is easy to read.

Size a syrup box from the assembled bottle and closure, then allow room for loading, label overlap, and any insert. Measure bottle height, widest body, cap or pump, and the base diameter. A dieline is the flat cutting template used to cut, score, fold, and glue the box. We draw it from your product dimensions and send a digital proof before printing. A common commercial artwork standard is 0.125 inch bleed past the cut line. Keep buyer-approved label copy away from scores and glue tabs.
Keep the closure and bottle neck away from a score when the carton will be opened often. A score is a pressed groove that guides a fold; placing it through a tight corner can weaken the panel or split the print. Leave glue tabs free of heavy ink coverage, since excess ink can slow adhesion. If the bottle uses a pump, draw the dieline around the pump in its closed shipping position.
Use folding carton paperboard for a retail box packed inside an outer shipper, and use corrugated board when the box needs more separation from parcel handling. A flute is the corrugated wave between liner sheets. E-flute is thinner and takes finer detail than B-flute; B-flute is thicker and gives more stacking support. AB-flute adds wall thickness for heavier packed loads. These are typical industry ranges, and the mill and liner combination affect final caliper.
| Board option | Typical industry range | Common use | Tradeoff |
|---|---|---|---|
| SBS cardstock | 16 to 24 pt | Retail bottle carton inside an outer shipper | Clean print and folds, less cushioning |
| E-flute corrugated | 1.2 to 2 mm | Small parcel box with printed detail | Thin profile and fine print surface |
| B-flute corrugated | 3 to 4 mm | Parcel handling and stacking | More wall thickness and cushioning |
| AB-flute corrugated | 6 to 7 mm | Heavier packed loads | Thicker box and more storage space |
A box can reduce movement, but the bottle closure and primary container control leakage. Use an insert or partition that supports the bottle body, keeps the cap from carrying the load, and leaves enough clearance for packing. If the bottle rattles, the carton can scuff, dent, or transfer force to the closure. If the cavity is too tight, packing slows and the carton can bow. Test the actual bottle, cap, insert, and outer shipping carton together. For culinary products, ask us about food-contact options.
Print the buyer-approved product name, bottle size, ingredients, directions, storage text, lot or date area, and brand marks that belong on the carton. Keep the copy readable at the final panel size. A proof catches a small dosage line, a clipped ingredient panel, or a barcode placed over a score before the run starts. White board gives more predictable color, while kraft changes light inks through its brown base. Matte lamination lowers glare, gloss increases shine, spot UV adds selective gloss, and foil creates a metallic area.

To size a syrup box, measure the assembled bottle, closure, widest body, and base diameter, then allow clearance for loading and any insert. The dieline follows those measurements. Send the bottle dimensions and closure type before the digital proof so the printed carton matches the actual package.
SBS cardstock at 16 to 24 pt suits a retail carton inside an outer shipper. E-flute corrugated, typically 1.2 to 2 mm, gives a thin printed wall, while B-flute, typically 3 to 4 mm, gives more wall thickness and cushioning for parcel handling.
Custom syrup boxes can package the outside of a culinary syrup bottle, but the box does not replace the bottle or closure. Ask us about food-contact options for your product. Send the bottle dimensions and buyer-approved copy so the dieline and printed panels match the actual package.
