A sample is a handled object, not a screen image: you can bend the board, check surface glare, inspect print coverage, and see how a coating changes the feel. Keep the samples beside your product while you decide what the finished pack needs to do.
Use the kit to compare the pack against the real product. A sheet on a monitor cannot show board stiffness, fold memory, coating drag, or how a sleeve catches on a tray. Keep one sample for your purchasing file and mark the stock and finish you want quoted.
