Plan that clearance around the highest decoration, then test a filled box in the orientation used at pickup or delivery. Inserts should restrain sideways movement without gripping delicate edges. For items with direct food contact, ask us about food-contact options rather than assuming any paper surface is suitable.

A press-ready file needs sufficient image resolution, converted color values, safe type placement, and artwork extending past every cut edge. The flat cutting and scoring template maps panels, folds, glue areas, and trim for production. Commercial printers commonly require artwork to continue 1/8 inch, or 3 mm, beyond each cut edge. Bright pastry photography prepared only in RGB may print differently after press conversion, especially in saturated icing colors. Low-resolution photos can soften, and text beside a score can distort. Matte lamination reduces glare across dark artwork, while foil stamping should stay clear of scores where cracking or registration drift becomes obvious. Check the digital proof panel by panel before printing.
A larger run shifts attention from a single attractive sample to repeatable packing, press consistency, and distribution efficiency. Press planning should lock one approved color target, inspect solid coverage and fine reversed type at sheet intervals, and keep the tooling revision tied to the artwork revision. Approve the filled sample before fixing the master-carton count. Flat cartons should nest without crushing cutout areas or glue tabs, and pallet planning should use the packed carton dimensions rather than the blank size.
