Place artwork on the approved dieline and keep logos, small type, and barcodes clear of the vertical seam, closure edge, and any cutout. A three-dimensional mock-up should show the intended front panel when the cylinder is closed and standing upright.
Raster images must retain enough detail at full wrap scale, and backgrounds need the marked bleed to avoid an unprinted line after trimming. Colors selected from a monitor should be converted through the chosen output profile and judged on the curved production surface. Digital print is practical for short or versioned runs. Offset print becomes a useful comparison for longer runs with controlled color and broad ink coverage. Matte lamination softens glare, gloss lamination increases reflectivity, and spot UV needs accurate registration on the curved wrap.
Inside diameter and usable internal height determine whether the packed item will load, close, and release cleanly. Measure the widest packed point, including a cap, label overlap, protective bag, or protruding base. Usable height excludes space taken by the lid, shoulder, end disc, or insert, so the product's overall height cannot be copied directly into the tube specification.
